Open Insights: An Education Podcast

Abre is a K-12 EdTech SaaS platform used by school districts across the country. When they wanted to build a thought leadership presence in the education market, I helped conceive, branded, and launched Open Insights, a video podcast that puts district leaders and educators in conversation about the challenges and opportunities shaping public education today.

I own the production end-to-end: show branding, episode graphics, video production, editing, and distribution.

Building a Brand From the Ground Up

The School-Based Center of Excellence is a Miami University initiative focused on advancing mental health awareness and support in Ohio's K-12 schools. When they launched, they had a mission, but no visual identity to go with it.

I built the brand from scratch: naming conventions, logo, color system, typography, tone of voice guidelines, and a design system that their team and state agency partners could apply consistently across all communications. The result was a cohesive identity that felt credible to school districts and state agencies while remaining approachable for the educators and families it was ultimately trying to reach.
